STUDENT WELLNESS / FIND SUPPORT

Find Campus Counseling Services

Looking for someone to talk to at university or college? Use this guide to locate your school's official counseling, wellbeing, student health, or sport psychology services. Services and eligibility vary by institution.

01 / START HERE

Search your university website

Open your university's official website and search for counselling, student wellbeing, mental health support, or student health. Use the official university domain rather than an unofficial listing.

Try searching: “[university name] student counselling” or “[university name] wellbeing appointment”.

02 / STUDENT-ATHLETES

Ask your athletics department

Ask an athletic trainer, student-athlete welfare officer, academic adviser, or sports department administrator whether the school has a sports psychologist or confidential mental health referral pathway.

You can ask for help without explaining private details to your coach.

03 / BOOK SUPPORT

What to ask before booking

Check whether appointments are free, how to book, wait times, online or in-person options, confidentiality rules, and what happens during university holidays. Ask about off-campus referrals if campus services are full.

Suggested message: “I'm a student looking for mental health or counselling support. Could you tell me how to arrange an appointment and what options are available?”

04 / IF YOU CAN'T FIND IT

Other places to ask

Contact student services, your students' union, disability services, residence life staff, or your university health centre. They can often direct you to the correct team.

If you need urgent support, don't wait for a routine campus appointment.
